Nice piccies indeed about 1802 still in action.
By the way 1805 and 1812 were prepared for being ferried to Denmark soon... 1815 stays in Luxemburg, need extensive repairs due to her "small bump"but nobody wants about her, so her future is very uncertain for the moment.1817 stays also in Luxemburg, waiting for new axles but this looks like it would be a very long neverending story....1818 is (and I think it will be) the last one in activity in Luxemburg (the last reminder of a great and reliable series of 20). Also 1806 still there but got new axles which cause extensive problems of wheight distribution in her undercarriage (need all the axles and suspensions to be removed for being checked and the owner in Germany doesent want to pay this.....) so looks this would also be a neverending story. And last but not least dont forget about 1809 which still stays in Belval , looks like they deliberatly want to forget about this one.......

De passage à Nassjo (Nässjö) en Suède, j'ai eu la chance d'apercevoir la 1802 à la gare tard le soir du 25 juin en tête d'un train de wagons plats vides. Je joins quelques photos, malheureusement de qualité très moyenne car prises de loin et il commençait à faire nuit.

Hi 1800 Fans....
Yes for the moment 1817 and 1818 R still alive.
Their schedule is split in 2 runs : one is running between Bt and Bu
the other makes connections with fuel trains between Lux and Bertrange.
I think best choices 2 catch one is during 06.00 in the morning and late afternoom somewhere in Bertrange by the Fuel companies (easy acces cos they're crossing the road so no restrictions for spotters....)
4 the Bt to Bu run I'm not able 2 provide a schedule,(Sorry) Have 2 try on your good luck 4 spottin' around the track between theese 2 points......
1812 and 1805 R in a pretty bad shape in Luxbg dépot and waitin' 2 b scrapped 4 parts
1815 is also in same location but her future is uncertain .in fact she had a " small" bump in late 2014 and waiting 4 decision 2 B fixed , but nothin' decided yet...
Besides 1806 is also there, got brand new axles ,engine partly refurbished and waiting to jump in action again somewhere in time....
For 1809 (my favorite, loved to drive her...) I don't know anything at all..She was (is) at Belval.I asked the same question about her fate in another forum on this site but no one is ablbe 2 give me an answer.

Hello,

we are 2 1800 fans visiting Luxembourg Friday.
Maybe anyone can answer a few questions.

1. Where is the 1809 at the moment ? We saw the Pictures indicating that is was being removed from the Belval area.

2. Is 1817 and 1818 still doing their runs between Bettembourg and Esch/Belval ?
Can anyone supply a timetable or just timings for these trains for Friday the 29th of may.

Thanks in advance.

Any questions regarding the use of 1800s in Denmark is welcome.
At the moment 1807 and 1814 is in use behind a Nohab MX or MY.

Am ralenti wor et nach gudd mee soubaal een d'Heizun ugemaach huet an den Diesel op cran 3 gaang ass dann ass een um Posten 2 nit mei setzen bliwen weinst Vibratiounen an grausamen Koméidi. Gin dovunner aus dat di " ongeklärten " Vibratiounen entweder op eng nit ausgewuchten GP zereckzeféieren wor oder well se 5542 (di iwregenz nach kuurz virdun frësch gemaach gouf...) falsch alignéiert hun.Well heeschen wann Gp rem agebaut gett da muss den Diesel genne ugepasst gin un di Gp. Do gin da kleng denn Blecher ennert de Sockel vun der Gp gemaach sou dat si zu 100% Mam Diesel an enger Linn ass well soss stemmt d'Héicht an parralellitéit nit an et enstinn Schwengunen a Resonnanzen bei gewessenen Touren an mat der Zait schléit een alles futti...(Lager,Wecklungen,Vilbrequin asw...) Daat wor iwregenz eng schwéier Aarbecht di net vill Leit am Atelier beherrscht hun an di oft mol eng ganz Woch gedauert hun...

Noch ein kleine Erklärung:
Der 5519 hat in 1993 die Installation von der 5542 bekommen (worauf die 5542 ist verschrottet wegen unerklärte Schwingungen)
Der 5531 hat in 1996 die Installation von der 6215 bekommen worauf die 6215 wieder gelb-grün lackiert ist.

Die 5525 muss 5523 sein:

Yes daat ass génératrice principale standard.(net ze verwiesselen mat daer vun der sncb 55 di een extra zougebautenen alternateur haat vir 3000 v cc zuchheizung, di een un der bloer Karrosserie erekennt. suwait ech wees woren et der knapps 10 vun den 42 "belschen 18er")...

Also een flash ass een Spannungsiwerschlaag am circuit haute tension.Dat muss dann am Atelier rem rausgeschlaff ginn mat der Schleifhex oder einfach Schmiergelpabeier an duerno mat isolatiounslak rem iwerstrach ginn.Duerno muss den engin enner Beobachtung puer deeg bleiwen fir ze kucken op rem een Iwerschlaag op daer geicher plaatz kennt. EEn Gr ass een "ground-relais". Daat ass eng Secherheet dei di 2 cicruits vun der Lok (haute an basse tension resp circuit-batterie) iwerwaacht an wann ee probleem ass z.b lasse kabel oder een geschauerte Kabel deen widert Karrosserie kennt , dann geet eng Meldeluut an eng grausam haart Schell um poste de conduite un. Dann muss een entweeder denn betraffene circuit isoleieren oder den "ground relais " vun der masse trennen.... Hoffen daat wor net zefill komplitzeiert ausgedreckt...

Ich denke dass "een flash op der GP" ein flash (Kurzschluss) in Hauptgenerator bedeutet. "Gr" weiß ich leider auch nicht.

:ohmy: Gesait schlecht aus 1809...(Muss awer och soen dat sie li lescht 20Joer bei weitem di "schlechste Karrosserie " haat wat de Lak betrefft.Par contre wor se teschnesch immens. Sin an den 90er drop gefuer an haat nie ee Probleem mat hir,keen Gr asw, wou aanerer awer mi oft een flash op der GP oder engem Traktiounsmotor gemaach hun (z.b. 1807 wor oft dobai...)
